Resigning of the CEO – Oded Shamir
Oded Shamir, CEO of Jerusalem Economy Ltd. is resigning from his position, the Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors will recommend the appointment of the CEO of Darban, Dudu Zvida, to serve also as CEO of Jerusalem Economy Ltd.
Jerusalem Economy Ltd., owned by Eliezer Fishman, announced today, Thursday, the resignation of CEO Oded Shamir. Shamir served as CEO of Jerusalem Economy Ltd. for approximately 12 years. He previously served in the Group as CEO of Shmey Bar and as CEO of Aspen.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors announced that he will recommend to appoint the CEO of Darban, Dudu Zvida, as CEO of the Company in addition to his position as CEO of Darban.
Eliezer Fishman, the owner of the Fishman Group, stated today: “Oded has been part of the executive management of the Group for the past 20 years. Oded is a real estate person through and through. Jerusalem Economy, under Oded’s management, has become one of the largest and leading real estate companies in the country. I thank Oded for many years of professionalism, I hope he continues to contribute to the Group from his many years of experience, and I wish him great success in the future.”
Oded Shamir stated today: “After 20 years in the Fishman Group in various positions, approximately 12 years of which as CEO of Jerusalem Economy, I believe that it is time for me to make a change. I am leaving a company in excellent condition and I thank the members of the Board of Directors, the employees and especially Eliezer Fishman for the trust, the support and the friendship they have given me throughout the complex and challenge-filled period.”
